The Church of Saint Sabino was built on the ruins of a rectangular opus mixtum building from the Roman period whose texture along the external wall is still visible.

Since the first medieval period this church was dedicated to the cult of St. Sabino Bishop until its restoration at the end of the 17th century. The jambs of the entrance - with the typical naturalistic leaf decorations on its capitals - were created in the second half of the 15th century. These materials are reused from Roman times and belonged to a destroyed building. Inside, the church has one rectangular hall Inside, the church shows one rectangular hall with an earthenware floor covered by a double pitch roof with wooden truss and roof tiles. The double round arches of concrete most likely belong to a modern era. The short side of the altar display frescoes and along the longitudinal walls were carved niches for the placing of the statues. From this church started the procession headed to the Church of Saint Roch outside the walls, which took place on August 16th.
