The church of Saint Salvatore was probably built in the medieval period on the ruins of a Roman building. It is composed of a single rectangular nave covered by a pitch roof supported by wooden trusses and has one chapel on the right side and two chapels on the left.

On this side, there is the characteristic Gothic chapel of the Orsini Family: it is dedicated to Our Lady of Loreto and shows an entrance characterized by an elaborated polylobed arch in peperino stone dating from the first half of 15th century and attributable to the Sulmonese art. The Classical-style altar's niche is rich in stuccoes and it is composed of smooth columns with a Ionic capital and a coffered vault decorated with floral patterns. Other peculiarities of the building reside in the mixture of styles, from the Gothic to the classic one of the 18th century, and in the presence of the distinctive bell gable.
